Sometimes facing the challenges of life, we find our confidence wavering and our strength wilting. The writer of Hebrews inspires us with these words of encouragement. This scripture reminds us that we may approach God with a heart full of assurance and faith, knowing that God has forgiven and renewed us, and loves us with a love that is awe-inspiring. We are also encouraged to inspire each other to love and good deeds. Take heart! --God promises us his love and strength, and God is faithful.

Let us approach with a true heart full of assurance of faith,
with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience
and our bodies washed with a pure water.
Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering,
for He who has promised is faithful.
And let us consider how to inspire one another to love and good deeds,
not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some,
but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day approaching. (Hebrews 10.22-25)
