Immanuel Health  Ministry

Picture
The aim of the Health Ministry program is to be aware of and to assist those of the congregation

who have spiritual, physical, emotional, or other needs, and to help alleviate those needs.  The

program is supervised by Marilyn Bell-Velten, a Parish Nurse, and Registered Nurse, Kristy

 Price, Immanuel's newest Parish Nurse.

Immanuel assists those who have medical questions, though

not in need of a physician.  Some needs might include:

-explanation and reinforcement of physicians' instruction

regarding medicine or dietary questions,

-testing preparation dos-availability of durable medical equipment on loan,

-periodic blood pressure checks and health consultations,

-First Aid coverage during Vacation Bible School

-Prayer Blanket distribution,

-encouraging good health and safety practices of Sunday school students

Interested in getting involved?  Contact Marilyn at 474-6487 or
