Service. The word often has a dry taste. We want it; but we don't want to give it. Yet joyful Christian service is one of the keys to happiness in life. Paul describes his life as a drink offering poured out in sacrifice, and then points to Timothy's life as one of exemplary service. I challenge us this week to look at our own life and see how we can offer our lives in service to others. Discover the joy of showing Christ's love by serving others!

I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon . . . I have no one else like him, who takes a genuine interest in your welfare. ..you know that Timothy has proved himself, because like a son with his father, he has served with me in the work of the gospel.
